In this widely publicized life-size work in 14 parts, Rinaldo Hopf brings wit and stunning esthetic eroticism to describe on a spectacular scale the predicament of social relations in a pandemic. Seven athletic and well-endowed young men practice self-fellatio in different poses to comply with regulations on distancing. The artist also respected the required 1.5-meter distance between the protagonists. The background reproducing current newspapers from different countries around the world stresses the global scale of the phenomenon. This is further evidenced by the appealing diversity of the men pleasuring themselves, a reminder of the joys of cosmopolitan life now under strain.
